I am fortunate to have known such an incredible woman who no doubt had the biggest heart; her soft kind words and unmistakable laugh will echo on inside me forever. The greatest cribbage player i ever knew and by far one of the best euchre partners who definitely would keep cheaters in line.
May you rest peacefully, you are gone but never forgotten.

This February, our family said goodbye to my beloved grandmother, who passed away peacefully at the remarkable age of 95. Her life was a testament to love, resilience, and a deep connection to the land. More than just a matriarch, she was a beacon of strength and joy, whose influence has profoundly shaped my own perspective on the beauty and abundance that surrounds us.
Sweet Memories of Kipawa Lake
I hold cherished memories of countless summer days spent with her at Kipawa Lake. We would venture out to pick wild strawberries, filling our baskets with nature's sweet treasures. Those berries, transformed by her loving hands, became the most delicious jams and pies, each bite a reminder of her care and dedication. Afternoons often led to after-dinner fishing excursions with all the women in our family on Kipawa Lake, creating bonds that strengthened across generations.
Love for fishing 🎣
Always had pink mints🍬
Relaxing lake floats 🧘♀️
Grandma had a special fondness for fishing, finding solace and joy in the gentle rhythm of the lake. I remember her always having pink mints from zip lock bags tucked inside the plaid button-up coats of her beloved husband, Leo. And after a long day of work, she would often float on her back in the lake, her peaceful presence reflecting the calm waters.
A Legacy of Love and Dedication
Her unwavering dedication to work, family, and her native life instilled in me a profound appreciation for life and heritage. She worked tirelessly to provide for us, and she showed us through her actions the significance of family and community. She demonstrated the importance of understanding our roots and valuing the traditions passed down through generations.
Grandma's legacy lives on through the values she instilled in us, the memories we shared, and the love that continues to bind our family together. Her spirit will forever be a guiding light, reminding us to embrace the beauty of nature, cherish our loved ones, and live each day with gratitude and joy.
In Conclusion
My grandmother's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, hard work, and an unbreakable connection to the land. Her memory will forever be a source of strength and inspiration, guiding us to appreciate the simple joys of life and the importance of family bonds. This document serves as a heartfelt tribute to her remarkable life and the enduring legacy she leaves behind. Tina forever in my heart ❤️
