La famille de Madame Sousana Mongrain invite parents et amis à se joindre à elle pour se recueillir, le dimanche 31 août de 14h à 18h à la Maison funéraire Robert et fils, située au 11 Riordon à Témiscaming. Le lundi 1er septembre, le salon sera ouvert de 9h à 10h30. Les funérailles auront lieu à 11h à la Paroisse Lady of the Lake de Kipawa. L’inhumation suivra au cimetière Jawbone’s Bay. Madame Sousana Mongrain laisse dans le deuil son fils Brent (John), son beau-fils Jean-Claude; ses petites-filles : Rhondi (Dean), Laurie (André) et ses arrière-petits-enfants : Colin, Phoebe and Tyler. Elle est partie rejoindre son époux, ses filles : Phyllis et Eunice ainsi que ses frères et sœurs : Ted, René, Percy, Carl et Cynthia. Born Celinia Lillian Sousanna, Susan was the first born daughter to Roch Mongrain and Mary Jawbone. She lived her childhood on Lake Kipawa learning to survive independently, a trait which she carried through her entire life. She learned to work hard at a very young age and continued to keep herself busy with various different jobs throughout her life. The latest tasks were caring for her parents homestead in which she lived until July 2014. She was the last surviving member of her siblings, Ted, René, Percy, Carl and Cynthia. In 1948 she married Patrick Robinson (deceased 2008) to whom she was married for 60 years. She was predeceased by daughters Phyllis (1975) and Eunice (2004). She is survived by her son Brent (John), son in law Jean-Claude, grand daughters Rhondi (Dean), Laurie (André) and great grandchildren Colin, Phoebe and Tyler. Susie was a lady of true style and character and will be remembered by many for years to come. Visitation at the Funeral Home at 11 Riordon Ave in Temiscaming, Quebec on Sunday, August 31, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
