It is with deep sadness that Maison funéraire Robert et fils du Témiscamingue, announces the passing of our dear loving Laurette Elizabeth Chevrier, born april 22,1952 to august 26, 2013 from de Notre-Dame-du-Nord. Laurette died from complications of diabetes and heart failure. Laurette is survived her loving sister Marilyn Chevrier-Wills and her brother-in-law John Wills and her companion Serge Huard from Sudbury. Laurette has 14 Nieces and 11 Nephews and many great nieces and nephews .Laurette never had the opportunity to have a family of her own and she always considered Tammy and Samantha as her two children. Laurette was very proud of the fact that Sage and Thomas Chevrier called her, Grandma. Laurette wanted to be remembered for her involvement and love for the Seniors Committee of Timiskaming First Nation, she loved singing and karaoke with her very dear friends Melva,Viney and Ida. The celebration of life will take place at the Chapel/Community Hall in Témiskaming First Nation, on Friday august 30th, 2013 from 13h00 p.m. to 16h00 p.m. with a feast to follow at 16h30 p.m. in the hall. Laurette’s ashes will be laid to rest by her mother’s side on Saturday august 31, 2013 at 11h00 a.m. in Notre-dame –du-Nord. Online condolences can be made at : www.maisonrobertetfils.com
