C’est avec le cœur lourd que nous vous annonçons le décès de Monsieur Sydney McCann de Témiscaming. Il est né le 6 octobre 1934 et est décédé le 24 mai 2024, à l'âge de 89 ans.
La famille de Monsieur Sydney McCann invite parents et amis à se joindre à elle pour se recueillir le vendredi 14 juin de 9 h à 10h30 à la Coopérative funéraire du Témiscamingue située au 11 rue Riordon à Témiscaming. Les funérailles suivront à l’église de Témiscaming à 11h.
Monsieur Sydney McCann laisse dans le deuil son fils bien aimé Larry (Susan Turner) ses petits-enfants; Mélanie (Sébastien) et Kevin (Amanda) ses arrière-petits-enfants : Brody, Macie, Cohen et Levi. Il laisse également ses sœurs : Nicole (Dan) et Josette de même que plusieurs neveux, nièces, autres parents et amis. Il est parti rejoindre son épouse Géraldine et son frère Ghislain.
La famille tient à remercier chaleureusement le personnel des soins de longue durée de l’hôpital de Témiscaming.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Sydney McCann at the age of 89, on May 24, 2024.
Sydney was born on October 6, 1934 to the late John and Ebby McCann.
Sydney leaves behind to mourn his loving son Larry (Susan Turner), his grandchildren : Mélanie (Sébastien) et Kevin (Amanda), his great grandchildren : Brody, Macie, Cohen and Levi.
Also his sisers Nicole (Dan), Josette and many nieces, nephews family and friends.
Sydney is gone to be reunited with his loving wife Geraldine and his brother Ghislain.
Larry would like to extend a hearthfelt thank you for all the love, kindness and tenderness that you have all shown my dad Syd while in your care at the long term unit. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Fondation Philippe Chabot/CHSLD Témiscaming

We were very saddened to hear about the passing of your dad. Syd to us was so much more than friend, rather like an older brother. We had an unbelievable rapport with him, so many conversations , so many friday afternoons spent talking about anything and everything. He was always there when we needed support, was never afraid to show us love and affection. We had so much respect for Syd and we are happy knowing that he has gone to be with his precious Geraldine. Will miss all our talks ,will miss your teasing , and when i hear the wind blowing in the trees i know it will be you and Dean. Rest easy our dear friend. Love and miss you always.
